Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Recopy ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and DevShift, the developer of Recopy.

License

Recopy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on any macOS device that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store terms. This license does not allow you to:

• Distribute, sublicense, or resell the app
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

Permitted Use

Recopy is intended for personal and professional productivity use as a clipboard history manager on macOS. You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Recopy and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

Data & Privacy

Recopy processes clipboard data entirely on your local machine. No data is collected, transmitted, or stored remotely. For complete details on how Recopy handles your data, please review our Privacy Policy.

Accessibility Permission

Recopy requires macOS Accessibility permission to function fully. This permission enables the global keyboard shortcut (Cmd+Shift+V) and the paste-to-active-app feature. By granting this permission, you acknowledge that the app will use it solely for these purposes and not to monitor keystrokes, read screen content, or access other application data.

Disclaimer of Warranties

RECOPY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RECOPY, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

App Store Terms

If you downloaded Recopy from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's terms shall govern to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license to use Recopy at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or third parties. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the app and delete all copies from your devices.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
